Stripped

Akin to the emperor I find myself parading down the street stark naked.  I ask myself the same questions I surmise he did, "Why was I so trusting, so gullible, so arrogant?"  I, like everyone else saw that the weavers wove nothing but lies.  Their insistence that I present myself with nothing draped about, should have given me pause.  However, they finessed me.  I invited them to my table and their pot brought no luck.  I heard their silent whispers, but continued ignoring intuition's impetuous tugging at the hem of my garment.  Even worst, I disregarded the sound wisdom of those who love me as simple folly.

I discovered that like the emperor, I left my palace.  It was my place of protection, my place of completion, my place covering.  Blinded by self-serving behaviors and emboldened by empty banter; the emperor and I, allowed deceivers to evict us from our innermost courts and rob us of our very garment of identify.

    1. I will complete the work God assigned to my hand (Luke 4:18-19). I am His faithful servant ready to be set free for service (Psalms 116:12-19)!

I submit myself to God as a living sacrifice (Romans 12). My testimony will set free those who have become prisoners of sexual immorality and low self esteem (Romans 8:1, Isaiah 52:1-2).

The anointing He placed on my life gives me a measure of wisdom and knowledge of movements in the spirit realm. He desires me to speak life to the spiritually dead (Ezekiel 37:1-14), to encourage those challenged in their faith, and to be a light unto those who desire more of Him (Ephesians 4:11-16).

Understanding that the world waits in eager expectations for the sons of God to be revealed (Romans 8:19); I am ready for my unveiling (2Corinthians 2:6-16).

Father, I will complete what I promised (Romans 6) and Your predestined (Isaiah 61:7, Romans 8:30) perfect will for my life (Jeremiah 1:4-10, Psalms 138:8).

For blessed is s/he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sins the Lord will never count against him (Roman 4:7-8).
